 The
stones are often carved with miniature animals, flowers, and designs
to make beads. Animal types include elephants, lions, snakes, dolphins,
owls, bears, eagles, dogs, rabbits, dragons, wolves, frogs, turtles,
pigs, cats, sea turtles, horses, rhinos, roosters, whales, birds,
squirrels, hippos, and penguins. Stone which are carved include
tiger-eye, Dalmatian jasper, goldstone, hematite, red jasper, green
aventurine, lapis, leopardskin jasper, and rodonite. After being
carved the beads are polished with a hole of one millimeter in diameter.
